Power Emotions

We all know very well that all our actions are determined by Emotions,though many a times we tend to justify that saying we are driven by logic even after knowing truthfully that it is a complete “Bull Shit”!.

If that’s theĀ  case, Is there some thing called Negative emotions?..well…I asked this question to many of my friends,they said numereous variety of answers from which i managed to get clarity in the fog of great confusion they created that they call the so and so emotions like Anger,Rage,Fear,Confusion,Loneliness,feeling down..etc as Negative Emotions..As a matter of gross generalisation i will take my friends as the whole people outside…

If these Emotions are called a Negative Emotions,are they going to cripple us? Do these emotions has to be fully nullifyed so as to live a fulfilled life? Are these Emotions has to be suppressed? Is that means that we don’t have to experience these emotions?

Check with the people who seek out personal development in any form..Be it Books ,Seminars ,Audio’s ,videos ,Articles..etc.. Most of their answers would be “I don’t want to feel fearful.I don’t want to procastinate .I want to be in control of my life and thats why i am going for these things?” or there are a second Breed of Personal Development seekers who used to say “I Know all these things,i am so and so called successful in my life.i want to extend my life quality.i want to teach people what i know..I seek these to get the strategies so that i can perform better” (Pretty sleek version of their justfication right? ;-) ).May be for the discussion purpose i will take them as two breeds,..one looking for ways for “Worst to Good ” and other seeking strategies for “Good to Great”…Whatever it is if they want to master their life,they MUST have to “Master the Emotions”…Period….

With that said,lets come back to the Negative Emotions? I strongly Believe that there is no such things called Negative Emotions.I consider All Emotions as Action Signals..Signals that tend to drive us to take some actions.With that i call these “Negative Emotions” as “Power Emotions”..

Say for Example,what does that Emotion of Fear means..does that mean you don’t have to take action..Nooooo…Not at all..It means that “You are not prepared yet and you need to get yourself prepared a lot more faster”.all you need is to get yourself Prepared and Act Immediately

What does that “Frustration” called…It means that you yourself believe that you are far more superior to what you just did and you can do a lot more and you believe you can do lot more”..And in this case,you can take the feedback from your result and act Immediately to live a greater life what you deserve”…

If you check this applies for all emotions..thats why i call them “Power Emotions”,the emotions that signals you the message in a Powerful Way..

Power Emotions have a Certain Characteristics..If you get the Message in the first time itself,it rewards you..else it signals you in a much more Powerful Way..say the first time it “Nudges you in the shoulder to take some action,the second or third time it gives you a TAP in your back”..If you still didn’t listen to it,then takes your attention by giving you a VERY VERY BIG BLOW in your Back,signaling you to take some action.

But Check What Happens? People Generally when they experience these power emotions,the first time they tend to neglect it and when it becomes bigger they “Soften” it saying ,”Hahnn,its nothing,i can handle this”,though tend to bombard their head thinking “Why is this happening to me,what this shit means?..etc..” and the third time when they get a Blow,then they take action and they seek out personal development articles which again say in a stylsih accent,how to “Supress” these emotions? or how not to experience these emotions?”.So after getting “Educated”..they resist these power emotions in a better way and since they are a lot more powerful they get your attention,by giving you a bigger blow..and this cycle Continues and after a while you see yourself going no where?

So what is the solution?

First Drill this deep in your head..”Power Emotions are your Friend’s who help you and not enemies who’ve came to cripple you”.Power Emotions are your Best Friends,just that they are from mars and they have their unique Language,and all you need is to understand their language, and act with it”

Second “Acknowledge the Emotion” that you experience.You don’t have to Neglect it or Resist it or Soften it..Just Acknowledge that you experience those emotions and appreciate them.

Third “Get the Meaning what they Say”. This is a little Tricky Part.Most People Struggle here.They React to these emotions,Instead of Responding to them.So how do we do that?…The answer is “Questions?” .Ask yourself certain questions like

  1. What does this mean? or what does this Really mean?
  2. What is good about this? or What is Great About this?
  3. What is that, i am not noticing,that will help me in the long term?
  4. How can Respond to this in a better way and also enjoy the process?

Remember ,your Brian is really really a Magical Lamp, that can give whatever you want and answer whatever the questions you ask..If you ask Questions like “Why am i so fat?”,then it answers ,”Because you’ve been eating like a PIG in the past”..Instead if you ask,”How can i reduce my weight?, it answers you appropriately..Even better if you ask,”How can i reduce my weight and also enjoy the Process?”.It will come up with even better answers…

So ask Better Questions and Get the Real Meaning of the Emotions.

Fourth “Act immediately”.As soon as you get the meaning,Do something.Act the Solution and get Going.

Fifth,the most critical and most important element..”Appreciate and Celebrate it”.Think for a Moment,you’ve done some thing that you’ve never done in the past.Doesn’t this need a Little “Hi-5″.Take some time to appreciate yourself for what you’ve done and Celebrate it”.Remember if you appreciate it and Celebrate it,you feel Better and you get addicted to this entire process and you tend to repeat this whenever you want?.You don’t have to take my Word,Do this Actually and feel the difference yourself…

Doesn’t these So called “Negative Emotions” are the “Power Emotions”.They Certainly are….

and ,what if even after doing these,you are experiencing these Power Emotions on a consitent Basics.Well that has to do with other two components of yours..

What are those “TWO” Components?.

First Master these Steps and get the Momentum..I’ll Say that in a Different Time ;-) .
